That's a tough question sometimes, but I can help, especially when online "zestimators" do not work well for most homes in the North County. You need a live human being to come up with the right price! I will prepare a market analysis, which includes recent sales in your neighborhood, and also looks at other homes currently on the market (your competition!) I will personally go look at these houses, as well as yours, and see up close what kind of condition it is in, what features it includes, how it is situated on the land, etc. I'll compare them with your home, and come up with a reasonable asking price. Sometimes there are fixes or improvements that need to be made before we can move ahead with the selling process. Often times, you will want to pack up some of the pieces in your home that can look like clutter, and make a buyer feel overwhelmed. This often includes family photos. While they are what makes your home feel cozy to you, they can cause a buyer to have trouble picturing your home as theirs, and therefore making the sale. There are professional "home stagers" out there who can also help, sometimes by re-arranging furniture to make the home feel more spacious.
